Grand Jury Testimony
On November 19, 2019, Dr. Melissa Weinstein appeared before a Bergen County grand jury to offer sworn testimony regarding the operations of her practice and her professional relationship with Tina Patch.
The proceedings were conducted under the standard rules of grand jury secrecy, producing a transcript that formed the exclusive basis for the subsequent legal actions and counts alleged in the indictment.

The Best Revenge is Exposing the Truth (2021) is the first book Tina McGlynn published on the Dr. Melissa Weinstein case, and it is built around a specific documentary claim: twenty-one identifiable false statements made by Dr. Melissa Weinstein, each one named, dated where the record permits, and answered with the contemporaneous evidence that contradicts it.
The twenty-one falsehoods cover the full arc of the dispute. Some concern the opening of credit cards — cards that Dr. Melissa Weinstein later testified she knew nothing about, but that emails and statements from the time show she discussed, paid down, and in some cases opened herself. Some concern the ownership of www.drmelissaweinstein.com, the domain Tina purchased in 2015 and has continuously owned, which Dr. Melissa Weinstein nonetheless alleged Tina had "taken over." Others concern the business arrangement, the compensation, and the day-to-day operations of the Paramus OBGYN practice from 2014 through 2018.
The book was written while the criminal case was still active, before the dismissal of the most serious charges in November 2022. That timing matters: it is the documentary record as Tina was assembling it in real time, not a retrospective. Dismissal and Expungement
In November 2022, the criminal case against Tina Patch reached its final legal disposition in Bergen County Superior Court. All three counts outlined in the indictment were formally dismissed, concluding the proceedings.
Following the dismissal, formal expungement processes were initiated to clear the remaining public entries associated with the charges. The legal disposition is final, and the court record is settled.
